Aircraft required, available at www.pmstone.com
Many thanks to Mike Stone for his freeware aircraft, he requests that any repaints of his Britannia remain freeware so please comply with this simple request.
This is a "fantasy" repaint, as Northeast were the only airline form the USA to order the Britannia but none were delivered. If she had arrived I hope my guess at the livery would be about right! I have done two versions, the early traditional colours of pre 1965 and the glorious Yellowbird from 1966 onwards.
To Install
Easy as possible just unzip this file to your FS2002 /AIRCRAFT/BRITANNIA folder you will require Mike Stones Brit aircraft available at www.pmstone.com
Then cut and paste these few lines to your Aircraft.cfg file inside the Britannia folder, replacing the "x" with the next number in the list of aircraft

You will find that although she has reflective surfaces, mainly on bare metal parts the rest will not appear washed out, but still have solid colours.
I have also uploaded repaints of Mike's Britannias in the colours of British Eagle, BOAC, Canadian Pacific and Britannia available at www.fsfreeware.com,SurClaro.com,SurClaro Just search under my name and it will reveal all my files.
This aircraft is the 312 series. I used pictures from airliners.net to try and get her as near as to Northeasts colours I could. I visited Northeast Virtual Airlines run by Guy G Caron Where I managed to grab some more pictures. My thanks therefore must go to Airliners.net for superb Reference pictures and Guy G Caron for a great web site and some nice planes.
This aircraft features full moving parts including the odd retraction sequence of the main gear. Night lighting, although no tail lighting as I am sure the real aircrfat never had that?
Hope you enjoy it.
I would suggest the following panel and sounds are used on this aircraft. Both I know are available at www.SurClaro and no doubt at other good fs web sites.
PANEL:FS2002 PRO panel for Bristol Britannia BR 314 By Dave Haskell
SOUND:FS2000 Sound Set For Large Older Turboprops
such as the Transall C160 and also the C130.
